The cat quietly sauntered around the saucy brown dog.
All the while along the shores crept a silent breathtaking grey fog.
One winter's eve the cat became aware,
that her ending day was very near.
The dog silently slouched next to her
for the first time the cat felt peaceful.
Then the fog came.

There is an uneasy feeling hanging over the city.
Dark fades to light and it's the beginning of my slow suffocation.
I feel it. I breath smoke.
The nights spent on roof-tops have become slow intoxication.
Cigarette smoke in the air illuminated by the street light.
I know secrets told in a stolen cars, on a gray stretch.
Speed is just a state of mind.
Can you feel its movement? I can't anymore.
Once was is no more, but only in thought, not in reality.

Could youth glow

she will not mention it

she may admit to dirty episodes,

she will not hope for

she is always real.

It was a quiet day until the charge came
Fire spread with a white blast
No peace could live
ALL WAS LOST
Though I remained
I survived and will fight to live on
I will not be extermined and will not leave quietly
I will live on
and not be noticed by
anyone
but myself
I have the right to live although

A butterfly flies as gracefully and as elegantly as a white dove soaring and gliding in the blue sky.
Its wings, speckled with dew drops glisten in the early morning sun.
I sit there, admiring its beauty but something happens that makes it look beastly.
Its wing, torn apart flutters to the ground as the butterfly jumps and waves its remaining wing trying to fly, but failing.
Suddenly, its movements slow and its body stiffens, it falls of the the leaf it was standing on, spinning and twirling as it falls to the ground.

In my eye,
anybody and everyones is like a bird,
their soul flys just like a bird.
it rises and falls as if it were a bird flying through the sky.
Some people are pigeons,
they always come home.
Some peole are Owls,
they go out all night.
People grow like a bird.
They start of young,
and stay at home.
They learn from their parent.
And as their parents nurture
and feed them they grow to be
a bird of their own.
Then the time comes for the bird to leave the nest.
And as do we leave our homes and move away.
They do the same.
A person is just like a bird,
in so many ways.
Their soul flys high and free
just like a bird

I met a creature,
with quite fashionable features.
the color of her skin was as green as could be,
but the color of her hair, was neon you see!
her sense for style
would win you over but meanwhile,
her sense of divine caviar
was completely bazaar.
She naturally enjoyed tuna so much,
Fresh from the lake with spinach
OH YUK!
I was unfortuantly on time,
to see this very odd delicacy,
then she rubbed her tummy,
and gave a smile of contentness,
and said, "you better run, or I'll eat you quicker than you can say mile!"

He creeps around the shadows
of my jail just like a beast
appearing from a neighborhood
yonder and suddenly acting
as if he were something that offered
more when anyone asks something
he has no form and no light
he writes no festival into my day
until the day he hangs himself
with bonnet strings
I will creep with him
and the clouds will not be the same
L Clark
Carefully she called for him
but he had declared himself invisible
and hadn't mentioned it to her.
She hoped he was away from her
and not bleeding in some downstairs hell
with that snake named Wanda.
But he had always been reckless
with his separation and twice already
he had whispered,' I am a singer, not
your cop,' so she gave up and worked
it out by herself.

At last the secret is out, as it always must come in the end,
The delicious story is ripe to tell to the intimate friend;
Over the tea-cups and in the square the tongue has its desire;
Still waters run deep, my dear, there’s never smoke without fire.
Behind the corpse in the reservoir, behind the ghost on the links,
Behind the lady who dances and the man who madly drinks,
Under the look of fatigue, the attack of migraine and the sigh
There is always another story, there is more than meets the eye.
For the clear voice suddenly singing, high up in the convent wall,
The scent of the elder bushes, the sporting prints in the hall,
The croquet matches in summer, the handshake, the cough, the kiss
There is always a wicked secret, a private reason for this.

The cold laughter that seems to tear an iron soul into nothingness. This silence eludes me. Dimensions slither away from me. Refuge looks sweet but is not quiet like the anonymity that I hide. Experience is the rare knowledge that no one wants. Instantly an oblivious bystander lies when he is cornered. Must I always follow the laughter? Transcendently, the agent of the saint hides her tears. Ramona muddies the arms of the wire doll, but expects no love. Merchants ignore this interlude. When youth was theirs, they did sadder things than that to wire dolls. They take a lazy lesson from this: the deeper the empathy, the more enchanted the adventure when recalled years later.
Ramona snails along the ditch scattering statues of her sainted teacher. Pigeons cling to their torsos in spite of Ramona's lectures. A serpent sways in that ballet-like way they have, and Ramona mournfully carries over a statue and places it before the serpent, murmuring the name of her teacher in barren jubilation.
"I wilt in the landscape to hear that name," says the snake. "Peanuts go back in their shells, and lobsters go melting the butter of their own destruction. That name must not be spoken here."
"This is a statue of my noble saint, my heavenly teacher," says Ramona.
The serpent throws back its head and opens its jaws, and proudly swallows the marble saint. A feast of wild knowledge is in store for Ramona if she doesn't race away immediately. Her face is severe but her heart is speaking softly of disobedience.

Pallid thighs of modern princes
resting there like jellied blintzes
reflect the merchant's stock advice:
if lunch is good then have it twice.

Brain soot at once talented and electric

Mapped out like a parking lot,
the servants' dusty pantry caught
a bag of white like scattered snow
a waste of flour, don't you know
And who the devil has knocked down
this moat of squandered Royal Crown
syruping the ivory floor
drawing ants beneath the door
Who did this? I hope they fess up.
Someone come and clean this mess up.

mice on bicycles

Olives are grabbing the woodsman's attention. Hostesses cooked them in cinnamon for a ripe long time. Then they captured llamas and got them to cook some bubbled pancakes for the woodsman. He was familiar with fresh pancakes, but not the bubbled kind. It was a warm message of appetite auditioning.
